Director of movie Twilight, an American fantasy film directed by Catherine Hardwicke released in 2008 saw Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. The pair became a huge hit and movie franchise saw 5 movies starring Robert and Kristen in the lead. However, director Catherine Hardwicke revealed of something really candid about this film related to Robert Pattinson. While the director had already finalized on female lead with Kristen, she was having trouble finding the male lead. Major concern of the director was Kristen being 17 when she was signed for the movie.
As per reports published in RepublicWorld.com as the movie was PG-13, it was ought to have some steamy hot scenes, but besides this the director made sure the Robert maintain a safe distance from Kristen, otherwise he would be arrested as the actress was underage. Also revealing further she mentioned of making him swear on a pile of bibles to maintain a safe distance from the movie’s female lead. Robert has flown to the director’s house to audition for the role, where he shot for a kissing scene with Kristen in Catherine’s bedroom, only to return from her house after bagging the film. When asked about the auditioning footage, she mentioned, “It would start riots.”
Both Kristen and Robert were most loved onscreen couple and also went on to date each other. Later the two parted ways.
